A Calmer Way To Meet
Life’s Challenges
Gentle mindfulness and wellness support for people navigating stress, chronic illness, emotional overwhelm and life transitions.
Mindful Heart offers mindfulness and wellness support. It is not a replacement for medical, psychological or emergency support.

What Mindful Heart is
Support that moves at your pace
Mindful Heart is a small, personal practice offering mindfulness and wellness support to people carrying a great deal — quietly, and often for a long time.
Sessions are calm and conversational. We start with how things actually are for you, then build a few simple practices that fit your energy and your day. Nothing is pushed, and rest is always a valid choice.
It is shaped by lived experience of chronic illness, so fatigue, flare-ups and unpredictability are expected rather than a problem to be solved.

Hilary's lived experience

I understand the tired days
I am a qualified mindfulness teacher and I live with a long-term health condition. That combination shapes everything here.
I know what it is to plan a week and lose it. I also know how much difference a few honest minutes of stillness can make when nothing else can be changed.
Mindful Heart is created and led by Hilary Rose.

Mindful Heart FAQ
Questions about mindfulness, retreats and sessions
Do I need any experience with mindfulness?
None at all. Everything is guided simply and gently, and you can stop, pause or rest at any point.
Is this suitable if I live with chronic illness?
Yes. Mindful Heart was built around lived experience of chronic illness, so pacing, fatigue and flare-ups are expected and planned for.
Are sessions online or in person?
Most one-to-one sessions are online so you can take part from a comfortable chair or bed. In-person workshops can be arranged for groups and organisations.
How long is a session?
Usually 45–60 minutes, and shorter sessions are available if that suits your energy better.
Is this therapy or medical care?
No. Mindful Heart offers mindfulness and wellness support. It is not a replacement for medical, psychological or emergency support, and Hilary will always encourage appropriate professional care alongside.
